Introduction

What is respond:react?

respond:react from Lighting Partners London

respond:react is a cloud enabled lighting control system that automatically adjusts the type of light emitted in order to enhance health, well-being and performance.

Research shows that light colour can have a profound effect on physiological and psychological outcomes.

respond:react allows you to take control of those outcomes.

Why respond:react?

Light has physiological and psychological effects on us, most notably on circadian rhythms which affect our sleep cycles and alertness.

These effects are dependent on the wavelength of the light and the amount of time we are exposed to the light.

Different people’s needs will require different wavelengths and exposures.

By having a system which can control these factors we can provide the optimum lighting for an individual at any given moment.

How does respond:react work?

We begin with a carefully selected combination of high-performance LED emitters. Then we add a custom-made microcontroller equipped driver board that can interface with most common wired and wireless control systems.

Using the results of our extensive research we implement control strategies that deliver the best outcomes for the people experiencing our lighting.

Individual requirements and the surrounding environment can be taken into account within the respond:react algorithms.
